Stay away from the really "Christain Movies" 'cause they usually aren't good, but here are movies that have good Christian themes, some more Christ focused and some more just God/moral focused: Luther, Simon Birch, Jesus: The ABC Miniseries (great portrayal of Christ Humanity), A Walk to Remember, Diary of a Mad Black Woman, Madea's Family Reunion, Lawrence of Arabia. Also if you missed it on TV "Joan of Arcadia" was a GREAT TV show that has a faith-based premise and both seasons are now available on DVD.
Well, those are movies that have a specific Christian/Faith/God theme. There are many other movies that you can pull things from as a Christian, but these are the ones that are specifically faith-based.

Narnia is a nice one, especially for a family movie. Left Behind, The Nativity Story, The Passion of The Christ. I think I would try getting copies of the Touched By An Angel television series. Those always had such uplifting story lines and would be good for someone struggling with their faith, as I think we all do at times.

well there is the movie Thr3e that just came out (based off the book by Ted Dekker) which is about the struggle of good and evil inside of us. a thriller that can almost be defined as a horror. very clean except for some twisted images. i very much enjoyed it. then there is the classic A Walk to Remember, pretty good. i really enjoyed The Pursuit of Happiness. Very good theme, will inspire you completely. The best place to look for movie reviews for christians would be www.pluggedinonline.com. they review new movies the night before they come out and they have movies on dvd for review also

Ok, neither of those movies, to my knowledge, were produced with a specific Christian message in mind. It just so happens that the majority of "feel good" movies with happy endings are SO open for interpretation that any Christian can sit down and say "Wow, Pastor John talked about that this morning. Its such a broad and absolutely unimaginative ending, you'd almost think that non-believers appreciate positive values as well."
We do.

the common answer that comes to mind...
"The Lord of the Rings" Its writer J.R.R Tolkein was a devout Christian, and he was also influenced by Best friend and writing partner C.S Lewis
Its underlying theme, has strong biblical reflections
Also "Narnia" aka "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" By C.S Lewis, a very strong Atheist, turned Influential Genuine Christian
Very "Christ Like" story line
Also Kind of "The Matrix" can be viewed from a biblical perspective
of coarse "The Passion of the Christ" By Mel Gibson
thats all that i can think of at the moment.

Saved! is a sharp satire of surprising depth that demonstrates the hypocrisy of many evangelical Christians, and manages to be funny and clever throughout. A great movie.
