There were a few isolated cases. The inspection program in Canada is amongst the most stringent in the world, and yes, the meat is safe.None of the ionfected meat got into the food chain, and was caught during the inspectsions. Once a single case was found, the herds that may have been likewise affected to checked and where necessary, culled.
