A seeder is letting others download from them. A leacher is the downloader. A leacher very often is a term used for those who download but don't let anyone else download from them. Thus not adding anything to the circle of sharing.

Leechers are people who are downloading and MAY be uploading the files, Seeders are strictly uploading the file so that others can download it.
More seeders the better.
