Their two teams: Giants and Jets
both lost today!!!

I didn't mind the Jets losing bc i figured that NE would win anways!
But i watched the Giants game, and i couldn't help feeling sorry for them...
They made a 1st and 30 (!!!!!) a touchdown to tie!
After all the crap Eli Manning has gone through this year....
And Tiki's last game...

The only New York team that would have been nice to see win is the Jets. The Giants are a mess right now. Shockey plays even though it gets a little over the top sometimes. Manning has no future in the NFL, and this is a sure sign of it. Tiki Barber is the only one that is trying to carry this team on and off the field in the right manner.
Plus seeing Jeff Garcia rise up in the fall of Donovan is too great to see go away just yet. Macnabb is not the man for the Eagles, and Garcia is proving it.

New York is lucky to have TWO teams in the playoffs. The Yankees will enternally be in the MLB playoffs, the Mets had a great season and with 3 hockey teams and 2 basketball teams I'm liking their odds to get one of those into the playoffs. So I'm not feeling too sorry for them at the moment. I'll agree that the Giants loss would be tough to take.

Both were good games. Objectively, the better teams won. The Giants were a .500 team. They were lucky to have made the playoffs. The Jets were locked in a mortal struggle with a much better team for 3+ quarters. So, no, don't feel sorry for them. Feel sorry for the Cowboys, who had that game won.

Well at least we can go another year without hearing the Manning vs Manning Superbowl talk now. Heck anyone who thought the Giants were going to win was as crazy as the people who thought the Jets could win. Everything is basically going as expected so far.

I felt sorry for both, particularly the Jets because that's my friend's favorite team, however, my Chargers are in the playoffs so that's cool.

I did feel sorry for Tiki Barber since this would be his last season before retirement.

Nope, they were inferior teams.
And Eli deserved all that he's gone through. If he wasnt a bad qb, they wouldve won. He had 2 good drives the entire game. That shouldnt let him off the hook.

BOO FREAKING HOO!! What, since there is actually a salary cap in Football and they can't buy their team like they do with the Yankees so we should all just feel bad for them....Cry me a river of lost dreams for a good NY Football team!

Well, everytime I visit New York on business I come home pissed off because of all the rude people there. I'm personally happy that both teams lost.

Actually, those teams are based in New Jersey, so your sympathy is a bit misplaced. Buffalo is, however, in New York.
