No, you can't mix them. Need to know what the hard surface is--metal, concrete, alum---- For some metal require acid washes for it to stick to bare metals. Just like all painting 99.99% of the quality of the painting is in the prep work and reading the instructions.

Sherwin Williams or your local paint store should have epoxy paint in just about any color. Hope this helps!!

west systems has a two part epoxy paint that is extremely durable, any marine store.
