Haha, I seen you question and thought about it, and my answer was going to be my own reflection. I clicked your question, read your sentence, and laughed.

Apparently we both have got scared of the same thing. I had recently watched a scary movie, and the next morning I was blow drying my hair upside down and seen my reflection in the mirror...it scared me.

Haha!

When I was about 8 or 9 I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I stepped on something in the middle of the floor in the bathroom. It felt semi - solid, wet, and hairy. I kinda freaked out, my imagination was running, I couldn't figure in my mind what kind of creature it could be. I turned on the light to find the cover to the tank with a wet folded wash cloth covering it in the middle of the floor. Our imagination always gets the best of us!

When I was in my early teens, I used to get totally freaked out by those "bloody mary" type stories.

I remember that someone told me you could see the devil in the mirror if it was uncovered and you looked at it at exactly midnight.

Of course, I was so scared that night that I couldn't sleep. Not being a religious person, when it came to midnight I was in the foetal position under my doona clutching onto my mother's rosary beads - just in case!!

(Awesome question, by the way!)

At my Dad's abode, around Christmas, while they positioned out the decorations and such, they had this shifting Santa. It replaced into St. Nick, in a white gown-y element, with a beard and whatnot, and he moved his head left and suitable and his arm moved up and down. i used to be afraid because of the fact I had to sleep interior the residing room, the place he replaced into, and my stepsisters and my sister could tell me it replaced into going to kill me. I in no way extremely believed them, yet i replaced into like... 5, so i replaced into continuously kinda freaked. Then one morning, some years later, i replaced into 9 or so, I awoke and that they had set it suitable in front of my face. I screamed and rolled off the settee. Haha, i've got faith so stupid admitting that.

I was standing by my kitchen table and out of the corner of my eye it looked like a bird was smacked on my window. Scared me thought someone pulled a sick joke, here it was my temperature thingy outside, I forgot it was there.

Was walking under an overpass one night as a teenager, looked up and swore I saw someone leaning over looking down on me. I freaked.

Turned out it was only the burned-out light fixture.

I wear glasses now... ;-)
