It's very annoying. Although, there are people who do not hold the same opinion that most of us do. There seems to be a business into transforming these child stars into pop icons, and people buy into it.

Disney has done this down through the ages. I watched a documentary on Kurt Russell(Disney star in the 70's) and he said that the Disney big wigs made him record an album and he didn't want to do it but was kind of forced to. He said it was embarrassing.

i almost think its disneys way of pawning off the young stars without totally hurting them or maybe breaking contracts...every star who starts singing with a diff company leaves disney either right before or right after...and the ones who sing on the actual channel should probably heed that as a warning that their career is going nowhere fast...a la hillary duff.

Yeah, i imagine it truly is annoying. yet, I also imagine it truly is portion of the "Disney kit". i imagine it really is between the perks of being a disney well-known human being, even as they signal you they promise to do this, this and this and also you promise to stay for disney for decades. LOL!
