x=-2
Get common denominator (20 in this case), multiply top by the number need to get cancel out the 20 so
4(4x-2) + 5(14-3x)=60 then
16x-8 + 70-15x=60 combine like terms
x + 62=60 get x by itself
x=-2
plug answer into original problem to check it

(4x - 2)/5 + 14 - 3x/4 ≥ 3

Clear the denominators by multiplying thru by 20

4(4x - 2) + 14*20 - 5*3x ≥ 3*20
16x - 8 + 280 - 15x ≥ 60
x ≥ 60 + 8 - 280
x ≥ -212

(4x - 2)/5 + 14 - 3x/4 >= 3

Let's get rid of all the fractions by multiplying both sides by 20.

4(4x - 2) + 14(20) - 3x(5) >= 60
16x - 8 + 280 - 15x >= 60

Now, let's move all terms with no x on the right hand side.

16x - 15x >= 60 + 8 - 280
x >= -212
