Thanks, Dwayne, but which sunshine do you refer? It's been raining in here since New Year's Eve. It looks like London :P

Greetings to Brazil from the UK.
I think you are saying that peace is not achievable globally, is that right? That the world will never know it? If so you are probably right. In all of recorded history, about 6000 years, there has been about 220-300 years in total where there was no armed conflict. A sad endorsement of humanity.
Individuals can know peace, as can groups of people, but on the global stage, this is not achievable I am sorry to say.

Peace is achievable if our leaders would just grow up. Happy New year and enjoy the sunshine.

Happy 2007!

I don't think there will ever be peace. I think we will eventually destoy ourselves and the planet we live on. Too many horrid things are happening year on year and it's getting worse..... will it ever get any better? (I really really hope so, for the sake of my daughter)

Peace followed by contentment would become happiness which would lead to Utopia :)

no, most people want peace....we must find better ways of denying idiots the chance to rise to positions of power...
also getting rid of all religion would be handy!
