What ingredient gives Kool-Aid its color?
Really need help before 10:00!!!!! I need the information for science homework...........thankx and sorry if this is in the wrong catagory ....!!!!

though it is hard to believe, it is the food colouring that gives its colour. it is so highly concentrated that people can use it as hair dye.

(use en.wikipedia.org for .. it gives instant answers at most times..)

as listed on the package, red- #...i think it may be 5 or 7...can't recall...but it is a dye which isnt' broken down any further.

i dont know but kool-aid was invented in hastings nebraska!!
