i never had a boyfriend in my life but i messed around "friend with Benefits" and i don't want people to think less of me becuz of that. but i do it becuz all my friends are always getting hurt by their boyfriends. but the guys don't care, their a$$holes they don't care and i wanna know how they do that.
i do want a boyfriend but i don't wanna end up like my friends crying and don't wanna get out of the house
but the guys over here don't care they just go out and get another girl.

Well, if you are young, maturity will be a huge factor in boys seeming like they don't care about anyone but themselves, as the male brain does not emotionally mature nearly as fast as females, and because of this, many will tend to still be in a childish frame of mind even into their early twenties, which is why they may seem very selfish and unconcerned about other's feelings. It's not their fault, even though it is very annoying, and (most) will eventually completely grow out this phase. However, even in adulthood you will still find most men to be less emotional than women. This does not mean that all men are a$$holes and will automatically make you cry without a care, because there are plenty of guys who are not like that. You can take my word on that. However guys ARE different mentally when it comes to feelings so you have to try to be understanding with them a little. There is really no concrete answer to why this is, and I am not an expert on neuroscience, but I would venture to say it has to do with the fact that the limbic system, which is the part of the brain that regulates emotion seems to be consistently more sensitive to stimuli in women's brains in clinical tests than it is in men's and therefore, women tend to experience much greater emotional response. This theory can be supported by the higher prevalence of major depression and anxiety in females as opposed to males, and more specifically the fact that 75% percent of people with Borderline Personality Disorder (or Emotion Regulation Disorder), which is an illness in which a person is extremely emotional and sensitive to the point of not even being able to function, are women. Well as children we're not taught about love as being a prt of manhood. We are taught men are the bread winners. we have to work and provide for the family. When we scraped our knee, it wasn't ok to cry but women are taught about love from day one. It's cool for ya'll to cry and most have marriage and love and having a family as a major goal in life and part of womanhood. To most men, sex has nothing to do with love. Penis and hearts are too different unrelated body parts. Most times we cant get the sex without the idea of love so we pretend to love so we can get the sex. Dont give it up. If you dont give it up and a guy falls for you then it may be true. Waiting isn't six month either. Most guys can wait 12 months for a real fine woman with no problem as long as they got a stand by to hold em down until you give in.

Guys are the hunters. Women get to smile and be cute and act fussy and line those guys up one at a time outside her door. And when you go dancing, we get to sit there while those poor guys have to walk up and risk rejection every time they ask a girl to dance. And then pay for her drinks!! the reason they keep getting hurt is because at your age both sexes are extremely immature. IIt's all about figuring out how relationships are and learning from mistakes, plus finding out what type of guys you like. So, having a "friend with benefits" i believe is the stupidest thing for you to do because it sets you up for having failed relationships

well, not all woman are super emotional, and not all guys are assholes, but having said that, its in a womans biology to be emotional, we're the ones that bare children. we're moms! we have to be emotional! its all just a matter of finding a guy who cares about you, and being smart about it. dont fall for a guy you know you shouldn't fall for! i know from experience, guys hearts break too hun.
