make sure you do the marine highway it is awsome it is a ferry so you can put your car on it and you dont need a cabin as you can sleep on the deck.Danali national park is another must and take a ferry tour out to 1 of the many glaciers

I have never been to alaska, but if were going I would try to see as many of the wildlife as I could.

depends on what you are into, your age etc....
as far as bars..chilkoot charlies is a good local spot. humpies ..down town. a lot has changed since i lived there...they have a lot of fun stuff for tourists. performing arts center, kenai fjords tours to see glaciers and whales etc...great fishing! it's really nice, you'll like it you should get a visitors guide
