You may not be wet enough so try using some lube. If this doesn't help then see the doc as painful intercourse can be a sign that something is wrong.

Go slow, let your partner know what's going on with you so that he can be more gentle. It's common to have pain the first couple of times. If it feels good at first and starts to hurt a little later, you probably have a lubrication problem, try astroglide or again go slow, more intimacy, kissing, love, a lot of sex for women is emotional. You need to feel loved. If you're nervous about it that could contribute to a lubrication problem.
If it's not enjoyable (especally if you're young and not married) stop for a while (like until you're married). Let your body mature, heal and sort of get used to the idea.
If you recently lost your virginity be on the look out for urinary tract infections (burning/painful urniation, frequent or urgent urination - esp with small quantities of urine) and yeast infections (itching/burning in vaginal and/or anal area) both are common with newly sexually active females. Be on the lookout for ANY unusual symptoms, they may be a sign of a STD or pregnancy. If you're not ready for all of this stop having sex and wait until you are ready for all of it. Talk to your parents, pray about it.

Are you using enough lubrication, or any? That can help if it is a friction issue. Or it could be that you are still getting kinda stretched out after losing your virginity, and it will get more comfortable as you get used to it. Have him be gentle. If the pain doesn't go away soon, after having sex more times, then I would see a doctor, there are medical reasons for pain, too.

Your question mark leaves the gate open. The things that give girls "lubrication" when aroused & ready 4 sex are called Bartholins glands. That is why (typically) in rapes you have torn tissue. = No lubrication.
Your key words were "after some time." You may be losing lubrication. There are products on the market to assist you, but none are as real as your own fluids.

first, is he big? If hes huge and u just were de-virginized, then yah, it will hurt. If you JUST lost your virginity, it might still be sensitive, remember, you have a broken peice of very sensitive flesh in there. Other reasons can be yeast infections. that will definately cause pain. you should be able to tell, though, if u have one. You'de be itchy. Go see a doctor. Don't be scared about it. It will ease your mind once they check you out and can give u some answers.

well its probably because since u just lost ur virginity, everything is still pretty tight if you know what i mean and it takes time to loosen the muscles so it wont hurt. its normal, sex is often painful during the first couple of trys at it. it gets better and way less painful after time and practice. just go slow till it doesnt hurt anymore

It will feel better in time. You may need more lubrication. Go to a drug store and buy some KY Jelly or other lubricant and use that. It may help with the soreness.

I hope you are having protected sex. Please be safe at all times. Now that you are having sex make sure that you use some form of birth control. Now if you are of age to consent maybe your not sexually aroused or nervous. If you are tense your vaginal walls will contract and become tighter.

Are you on top or is he getting from the back, if so that's probably why its still painful. Tell him to take it slow and you should let him get on top for the first few times.
If there is still pain, go to the doctor.

maybe its just your body trying to telly ou that you arent ready to have sex yet. How old are you ? If sex hurts, let your partner know, this is something you should share with them.
