Most rappers are overrated. What other genre of music can you blatantly steal and be thought of as a pioneer. Most rappers talents are in rhyming, but Dr. Suess was rhyming before rap was around, and no one gives props to him. The only rap group that ever came close was Run DMC.

The new record is not very good. The Black Album was nice though. There were five or six legitimate hits on that. NAS's new record is 100 times better.

I never though Jay Z was overated....until I saw him in that Bud Light commercial, and realized he's nothing but another sellout, willing to do anything for the money.

Hell yes. There's unfortunately too much hype around him and I think he sometimes loses site of his "talent."
I hate rap but I use to love it (+ im black) so I think I can speak from experience
