porphyria's lover -Robert Browning, stunning dramatic and shocking combined with fabulous use of poetic techniques. any of Shakespeare's sonnets, my personal favourites the Dark lady sonnets. Browning's Meeting at monring and parting at night for a witty and intelligent sexual poem, also John Donne's the Flea for a similar thing. oh and can't remember the autor i have a funny feeling it's Thomas wyatt but could be wrong it's first line is do not go gentle into the night rage rage against the dying light. That's just a few of my favourites. hope they help. Just remebered another Sylvia Plath's "Daddy" have fun.
