The problem is all these "sane" people claim that it's a natural cycle. 13,00 years ago there were glaciers and now we are warming. But here is where there argument falls apart. Yes, glaciers have been receding SLOWLY up until about 20 yrs ago. Now glaciers that should have been around for at least a few hundred years more will be gone by the middle of the next decade. They let someone on television tell them not to believe what their eyes see. Why did NASA believe in Global Warming until 2000??? Up until then the scientist at NASA must have been all uneducated and unrespected scientists (even though they were the only ones able to put a man on the moon?).

Presumably the truly debate i approximately AGW, as a substitute than simply GW. Of direction I have not noticeable any intelligent conception that explains any of the present warming by way of usual reasons, so in that experience in case you take delivery of GW, and deny AGW then you definately need to reward a few critical proof as to a few different purpose, considering the fact that the is plenty of proof at the AGW part. I might no longer be amazed if there are a few truly local weather comparable scientists who deny AGW, in spite of everything there need to be hundreds of thousands and there might be a high-quality range of competencies, know-how, competence and capacity, however that would not imply a factor, truly technological know-how and fact don't seem to be fame contests. The surroundings 'is' whether or not humans suppose in it or no longer. In the equal approach GW is going on, its measured and the measurements stack as much as scrutiny. So whether or not humans adding scientists suppose or deny makes no change to the truth, simply the politics. AGW isn't a faith and does no longer require worshipers and even believers. However if humanity as a organization does no longer pull its collective finger out and take motion we can jointly seal our doom. If we do take correct motion even at this as a substitute overdue level, we will be able to nonetheless preclude the worst results and mitigate the relaxation with out dooming long run generations to colossal hardships.

I just don't think it's been adequately studied without bias. It seems any kind of weather/phenomenon is because of global warming. A lot of hurricanes? Global warming. No hurricanes? Global warming. Warmer than average? Global warming. Cooler than average? Global warming.

About 35 years ago, the scientists said the earth was cooling. The cause? Carbon emissions. Now it's warming. The cause? Carbon emissions.

Global warming is real. But the data for its cause is inconclusive. In all probability, the largest contributing factor is humankind in an industrialized society. I think what complicates it for Americans is that we believe we can fix anything. I sure hope we're right, because we have one heck of a huge problem on our hands.

No one denies that the earth is warming. It has many times in history. There is proof a plenty that the earth has been warmer numerous times than it is now.
The danger is NOT warming, but cooling. If we had weather like the little Ice Age again, many people would die.
Warmer weather creates more land for growing crops to feed the population of the world.
We just do NOT believe that Al Gore and the Democrats have our best interest at heart and there is plenty of proof of that!

I do not deny it is real. We just disagree on why. Al Gore is an idiot. Global Warming is a natural occurence related to our sun. We did not cause it and we cannot stop it. We are along for the ride.

I don't deny that it exists. I hear people talking about it, but when asked what they have done to stop it, I get no response? Have they given up driving? What goods do they no longer buy? The reason I asked the second question is because, all of the items manufactured have been manufactured using petroleum, delivered by petroleum, or both? What are you willing to quit in your own life to change a natural occurance?

I believe I would have to study data over the next 10,000 years before I make a reasonable conclusion.

You are aware that the ice caps have advanced and receded repeatedly (thousands of miles) over the last few hundred thousand years, right?

nobody is denying that it's real... 13,000 years ago there were glaciers where the Great Lakes are now. Whether SUVs and charcoal grills are causative now is another matter.
