I guess that you have already done politics, society and religion. Here's an Idea. Write a series of poems, each one representing a specific sin or emotion. For example, the angry poem, or the sad poem, or the love poem...etc. Write about your past, or write about something which seems obvious, but actually has a much deeper meaning. Have you tried reusing old stuff. Use selections of old poems and morphed them into one or translate and old poem into french or something. Good Luck.

Thank you for your feedback on my poem, just returning the favor ok, to be completely honest, you need to decide what to write about. The themes and topics should be your choice because they will mean much more to you then if you are forcing yourself to write about a concept that you think others will like. Good poets write for their audience while great poets write for themselves.

How about one on an old house, how its windows are broken and the ceiling are falling, paint has vanished, the pipes are rusted. No one lives here any more. But, It once held a lot of love. Then how about writing one on the school bully. One on the lost of way home. I can't really think of any good ones right now, I used to write them. Oh, write one on how gram misses gramp once he was gone or reverse it.

How about child rape? You know, typical tale of oppressed vs. oppressor, with the added bonus of sexuality, and possibly family ties involved???
