How funny. These would be some easy songs to dress up as...

Grateful Dead's "Casey Jones" - dress as a train engineer
Train's "Meet Virginia" - dress as a waitress like in the video
Tom Petty's "Last Dance with Mary Jane" - wear a tattered party dress & some pale make-up
Blind Melon's "No Rain" - dress up as a bee
Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon - you can wear 'red, gold & green. red, gold & green'
The Eagles' "Desperado" - go for a cowboy look
Madonna's "Material Girl" - Copy the video & dress like Marilyn Monroe
Styx's "Mr. Roboto" - aluminum foil & duct tape
Rick James' "Superfreak" - Now this would be funny
Sir Mix-a-lot's "Baby got back" - This would be even funnier
The Village People's "YMCA" - Take your pick on who to dress as
The Spin Doctor's "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" - too easy
Don McLean's "American Pie" - go for a prom queen look with a sash that reads 'Miss American Pie'
Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl" - Really dress up. Hat, gloves & all
John Cougar Mellencamp's "Jack & Diane" - great for both of you. He wears a letterman jacket & you can wear anything Bobbie Brooks, lol.
Thomas Dolby's "She blinded me with science" - he's blind & you wear a lab coat with science props
Rick Springfield's "Jesse's Girl" - This one pretty much relies on nametags. Or you could go with true 80s fashion & have a t-shirt made up with 'Jesse's Girl' airbrushed inside a heart

I'll list my fave songs & wht you could do to go with it:

1. Hand in my pocket (Alanis Morissette) - u cud maybe wear a tee with cargo pants & walk with ur hand in ur pocket....simple and inexpensive.

2. City of blinding light (U2) - ideally, u could string those little fairy lights around urself. Only problem is where u'd get ur power source from and the possibility of shocking urself...bt its a thought. Or you could buy or make the most glittery top / outfit you can. Get really shiny sequins & stick em on to a white tee / dress.

3. Paint my love (Michael learns to rock) - the video of this song has a girl with the body paint of whtever scenery is there behind her. You & ur hubby could wear tanks & shorts...paint ur arms & legs with expressions of ur love. Lil' messy & time-consuming, but if u have a steady hand with a brush, shouldn't be a problem. Just use skin-friendly paints if ur doing this.

Thts all I got....hope u guys have fun!!

Um...maybe something like Ghostflowers (otep). Very pretty, just a gown type of thing. Not really costly if you have a good imagination and you know where to look.

Now...if you don't know the song or the band of which i speak...i can't help you....just go 80's Madonna something or other ;)

I'm into Victorian things. Classy, is good....I prefer something simple like Black & White. I don't really know what your favorite song is, so I won't be much of help..
Next month is...February. What song do you enjoy most?
