Try your Public Library as a Page; you’d basically put books back on the shelf. Easy stuff. They’ll teach you how to do it, it’s really simple. You could even branch out into Library Science if you wanted to, most libraries would help pay for your college if you were getting a degree in Library Science.

A restaurant is always a fun place to work. You may start either busing tables or hosting. Dish washing also gives you money, but you are hidden away in some corner without much human contact. Restaurants are quite flexible with their schedule, not like retail or office jobs which can be boring and taxing. Besides, in the restaurants you always find young people, specially pretty girls, who wait on tables. You may move up and become a waiter, too, and collect tips. Either way, make sure that you only work at fun, busy restaurants and not some boring diner.
Good luck with the job hunting.

Personally, as where I had my first job, I would try Walmart. As much as I dislike the companies politics, it is an excellent place to work. The pay is pretty nice, although it wouldn't compete with something such as being a waitress/waiter, it beats out most of the starting pay rates that other businesses would offer, such as fast food. It also had some nice benefits and it's a flexible business that would, or at least it did for me, adjust working hours around your school schedule or your life.

Check out my blog on some tips to earning money on the Internet, as well as a list of websites I actively use to earn the money. They are 100% free (and I 100% guarantee it!) and scam-free. I have been paid by everyone. From a few of the websites, I earned a little over $200 for the month of December, but your earnings could be much greater.
http://www.swatcash.com/2147 < Using that website alone I have made over $100 in under a week. It's a really great website. You can earn cash as well as Paypal bonuses, Visa Gift Card's and they even have referral contests for cash, as well as giveaways for Nintendo Wii, Ipod Nano and PS3.
If you have any questions about any of the sites or how to complete the offers, feel free to drop me an email @ theacademyisnt@hotmail.com or IM me on AOL @ theacademyiswhat or Yahoo @ hipasinhypocrite37

Most kids your age usually work at restaurants, movies, etc. Don't expect to get a great job with great pay and benefits.
