Sounds like it has an respritory infection. You need to take it to a herp vet who will give it an antibiotic injection. Its not going to get better WITHOUT medicine.

What kind of snake is it? Ball pythons are notorious for respiratory disorders and can live long lives with it. My ball python is 15 yrs old and has had disorder all its life. my vet says it is normal for captive bred snakes. If it is an infection, find a herp vet to prescribe some antibiotics for it to treat it.

raise the heat. Lower the humidity.
Does he seem restless??
When has he defecated last?
Try putting him in a container of warm water to relax him, (and probably drink to hydrate himself) and then keep him dry and warm in the cage.
What is he throwing up? How often?

Yes your snake has a respiratory infection. I gave my snake medicine in his water and a couple shots.Sorry but I cant remember what I gave him. The pet store where I bought him told me what to do. It worked for me.
