HP is not the best, nor is any other brand .... it all depends on the model of printer.

HP has "brand name recognition" which goes a long way in our society.

You (as a business person) need to look at "TCO" .. Total Cost of Ownership :

- good warranty & service plan
- low cost of consumables
- high performance yield

Email me your budget & the work load you need to cover & I'll gladly assist you further.

A laser printer will give you thousands of pages... especially on one made for heavy duty printing. A inkjet can match the quality of a laser but that ink cartridge is gonna run out quick. Your just starting up and will probably want to get more than one laser printer after awhile... gotta have the backup printer

Depending on the type of document... you can get by with a cheap printer just to start getting cashflow going... then later invest into a heavy duty one.

Laser is quicker, inexpensive and larger first-class. You can get affordable colour inkjets these days, however the cartridges price a ton of cash, and they're more often than not so much slower than laser. I purchased a Brother HL-1440 B&W laser printer years in the past, and it is published countless numbers of 1000s of pages with out crisis.

I have a Brother all in one in my office and it works perfectly. Laser is far better than inkjet because the print quality is more consistent, they don't clog like inkjets, they're faster, and toner is cheaper than inkjet cartidges per printed page.

As for HP being the best... I would research it on www. I've always heard their machines are high quality but their customer support is poor.

Stick with the laser ...ink is expensive and if it ever breakdown....there are service companies that fix lasers.
You may want to look into leasing a copy, print, fax, scan color even though it's a black and white copier.....depending on your needs.....some can email documents and recieve email...store most used documents in memeory..ect ect. ect.
The copier today is more functional than printing and copying.

Laser is better, faster printer, cheaper to run and best quality. HP is the best. You can count on it for good quality and lasting.
