Just relax and try to enjoy the moment. At 20, you should know all about these things. Research the topic as each girl is different and each one reacts differently.

Okay,
I dont know why some people keep hinting that you should wait until you're married or that when youre married "it wont hurt because then its right." Sorry, dont mean to offend whoever said that but just because it didnt hurt *you* does not mean it wont hurt someone else, no matter how right it is.
Its right when *you* decide its right, wedding ring or not. I was going to wait until i was married but then I met and fell in love with my boyfriend and i felt I wanted to share this very intimate act with him and it felt completely right to me. Anyway, on to your question.
It will most likely hurt the first time since the hymen must be torn, although some people are born without a hymen or have already torn it using tampons or even doing physical activities such as running. If you do have an intact hymen then it will probably also bleed, and you will be sore afterward. It may also hurt the next few times you have sex but trust me it gets better. Lubrication is KEY, so pick up some KY-jelly, and also FOREPLAY. Make sure you are turned on before he penetrates you. You may be nervous but try to be in the moment and not worry about pain before hand.
There may be weird moments if you are in pain and ask him to stop for a second or something, but they will only be weird if you feel uncomfortable asking him to do so. If you do, then you may want to rethink this. You say you have been with him for a long time so I hope you are comfortable enough with each other that you can talk about anything and tell each other anything. I also hope he is a sweet guy who will listen to you and will do anything to make it better for you.
Also, please make sure you use protection.

Try not to expect anything, it puts too much pressure on both of you and the moment.
Enjoy, if your boyfriend hasn't had sex or touched himself chances are it won't last very long.
Use protection....or the weird moment your talking about will definitely come when your late for your monthly friend...and don't worry first times aren't always what everyone makes them out to be, just make sure you tell him to preheat that oven before baking that turkey!!

I've only been with my husband and it didn't hurt at all. I think it hurts when you are young and not ready to have sex. When you've been in a relatioonship for a long time and truly love the other person you are "making love". There is a difference in "making love" and "having sex".

If you are truly in love then I doubt you have anything to worry about. For me, it did not hurt at all and I did not bleed afterwards. I was a little sore the next day because it was my first time but thats it.

The first time may be a bit awkward since you are unsure of yourself. Just relax and try not to expect to much from your first time. Be sure that you have a plan in mind as to what you will do should you accidently become pregnant. You need to think this through before you have sex.

Sincerely, the first time won't be that wonderful. That's the truth. It depends on how experienced he is, as well. If he is, than it will be less painfull. If he isn't...For the first time it will be best if he finished really fast, because it is the first tiem and your body is stii not used to something like that. But what you need not be scared, it will be less painfull and more pleasurable each and every time.
Enjoy

If u plan it there probably will be some weird moments. Dont expect your first time to feel great either, but dont worry it gets better.

If you've waited this long why not wait till you are married? I was 23 when I got married and was a virgin. I had NO regrets or worries by waiting. Good luck on your decision. I don't mean to be rude but if you are asking are you sure you are ready?
