Dear Dude...that just doesn't always apply to me. It seems when I have the opportunity to go see my Grand who live in Kansas...and I am all hyped up to get there and stay a few days. The road back home takes forever. Do you think I am weird?

I think it's more in perception, especially when traveling somewhere for the first time. Going there, you're not completely familiar with the route and landmarks, but have a sense of them when you're coming back.

I've noticed that with all the road trips I've taken. I guess it's just that you're anxious to get to where you're going.
