i dont understand it if sum1 sends me a email of 100$ what happends next

You go to your PayPal account and withdraw the funds to your checking or savings account. In 3 days or so you have it. If they used a credit card to send the money you might only get $97 or $98 of it though. But with debit or direct from their account you get all of it.
