Now my cough reflex is still not gone 2 whole weeks after the cold symptoms including phlegm have disappeared. It feels itchy like there is a little water in my lungs, upper bronchol tubes. Did I injure my lung area somehow and will it go away or should I get help?

You may have some reactive airways as a lingering effect of the upper respiratory infection. Likewise, even though your phlegm is gone, you may still actually have the illness although in a later stage. If it persists longer than a few weeks, or colored phlegm or fever returns, see a doctor.
