Mine does, and when it's light in the beginning or right towards the end I don't mind, but I have really heavy periods and at that time the last thing I want to do is have sex and risk getting blood everywhere. Also I am usually cramping like crazy but my husband thinks I'm being unreasonable, what do you think?

My husband wants to have sex all the time, period. He says he doesn't mind if it's "that time" or not. Well, I do mind. I don't like to have sex while I'm on my period because it just doesn't feel good. He thinks I'm unreasonable as well, but I tell him I don't care. Why does it always have to be about what he wants?! He also gives me the line "I've heard it will help the cramps". Him leaving me alone will help the cramps enough, thanks. Well, that and the handful of ibuprofen I've taken. lol. Good luck and remember you do have the right to say no. Don't let him guilt you into it.

My lover always want sex. It doesn't matter what time of the month. Period sex is good though because it actually reduce cramps and just throw down a towel or do it in the shower if you are worried about the mess. I often read on here that people think it's unhealthy or that your period is 'cleaning your body out', but that is absolutely untrue. It's healthy and safe to have sex on your period, but like every other time of the month, you've got to use some form of contraception like condoms, the pill ect. Because you can get pregnant on your period.

I agree with you, it's gross, how can you enjoy sex knowing that it's going to get blood everywhere? No no no. A lot of women feel the same way as you, you are not being unreasonable at all- I'm sure he wouldn't ever want you to do something you aren't comfortable with?

Crazy enough, I dated two guys who were liked doing it during periods. I think it turned them on. It sounds gross but many men out there consider it a fetish.

However, it is ANOTHER story if he thinks if you are unreasonable. You just need to put your foot down and say "no" because he doesn't have to force you to have sex if you don't want to. The only other alternative for him would be to have him switch places with you to find out how uncomfortable and unsexy it can feel to be on your period, but since that is not one of the options, just talk to him about it!

My husband and I used to have sex sometimes when I was on my period until one day his brother was flipping through the Bible and It said that God is against people having sex while a woman is on her period.

i think that most men think that you are on your period so that means that you can not get pregnant to them that is safe for them they have no worries , if he loves you then he should ask you how you feel about it, most women enjoy it as well as men do there is nothing wrong with having sex during that time of month but it should be enjoyed by both of you

haha ...I don't have that problem. My husband steers clear of me at all costs during my time of the month.

I think it's a personal choice. I personally don't have such a problem with it, b/c I'm usually in the mood at the onset of mine.
