It's gotta be "Space Oddity". by David Bowie, where he's singing about an astronaut named Major Tom, who's speaking to the Command Center right before lift off. They say, "Check ignition, and may God's love be with you". The song ends with Major Tom losing contact with The Command Center and drifting off.
