As far as I'm aware the auditions "High School Musical 2: Sing it all or nothing!" were in April 2006. The film is already in pre-production with a planned start date of March 2007 in Utah. I'd say your best bet now would be to find out which extras casting company they used in the first one as they are likely to use the same one in the new one.
