I live in a "snooty" rural neighborhood where people get mad easily over dumb things. You think they would rat me out if I adopted a few barnyard animals?

I would be more worried about the wife than the neighbors! *wink*

Get a pet goat, get a dog license for it, let it eat peoples flowers.
There are certain things that make some animals livestock, Don't treat them like livestock, and call it a pet. Build a Goaty Doggy house. Look at the laws in your town.
Thats just my opinion and best advice on which animals you can take home.

You need to check zoning and as far as your neighbors go I reall couldn't say, you could only be the best judge of that.

If the animals are loud then you could bet they'll say something, but if they do find out, try letting their children come over for a zoo type experience.

I'm not sure, let me consult my team of lawyers and get back to you.

Your neighbors sound like the type who would appreciate a simple toilet-papering instead; give them something that looks lacy and fancy ;)

go and talk to a attroney about what you can do and cant do about the animals. Who cares if they rat you out, you will have the animals to give all your love to and they will love you back.

Depends on the zoning laws where you live. Contact your humane society and ask them.
