Then I went with my husband and kids to show them where i was going to be buried at and to tell them goodbye. Then i started crying because i wasn't ready to say goodbye to them i wanted more time. And then I woke up. I would like to find out what it means. I am suppose to have surgery and I am very scared about it. I wondered if maybe my dream had something to do with that.

I think it is gods little way of telling you that your family needs you.
Spend more time with them so when you finally do die, you have no regrets.

" To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.

On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation. "

I'm sorry to hear that you're having surgery :( knowing what the surgery is for would be helpful. Even if it's something small like the removal of a cist to something serious like an organ transplant, you can develop fear or anxiety. Don't worry too much about what the dream means, and try focusing on lessening the effects of it. Just understand that dreams don't usually *mean* anything, but they are good indicators of your subconscious feelings.

The dream is just an effect that comes from your subconscious. You are worried about your upcoming surgery, and that is why you dreamt about dying. The dream isn't a sign that you are really dying; it is just your thoughts and worries working overtime. Often when we are anxious about something, it appears to us in our dreams. I've had dreams about going to an exam hall for a very important exam totally unprepared and woke up the next morning freaked out because I did indeed have an exam coming up. The dream is definitely not a sign that I would fail the exam as I didn't, but it just happened because I was stressed out about it and it just surfaced from my subconscious.
Don't worry too much about it... Hope your surgery goes well.

Different dream analysts may interpret dying in various ways. Some feel dreams of dying may mean then end of something in your life. Or, you need a drastic change in your life. Others will point to specifics such as a wedding or birth of a baby that will take place.

When interpreting dreams, always take the literal translation first. Your dreams of dying: are you worried about your own health? Have you been, or are you, sick?

You're right, this probably is all about the anxiety of knowing you're having surgery. Maybe you're mentioning it on Yahoo Answers because you need some extra moral support?

Tell your family about your dream as a way to begin to tell them you love them and that you are scared. Your loved ones will provide the support you need. They are powerless to provide true comfort though. That's where prayer comes in. Philippians 4:6,7- "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." I'm not implying that God will cure you, but He does provide us with much comfort in times of stress.

uhhhhhh...OF COURSE it had something to do with your upcoming surgery. You are obviously worried about the outcome, as most of us would be. But, worrying accomplishes nothing, as we have no control over these things. Make the best of these feelings you have & let your husband know how you feel about him & your family in the event that things dont turn out well. I'm not trying to say that youre going to die, but people that are killed unexpectedly dont have time to get those last words in. If we know that the possibility of death is near, we have time to express ourselves honestly. Dont be afraid, I'm sure you'l be fine. Medical technology is very impressive these days. My girlfiend & I both have had many surguries between the two of us & I have lots of faith in modern medicine. good luck to you

you are under a lot of pressure from the impending surgery and you don't feel that your husband and family are taking it as seriously as you are, maybe they are just trying to reassure you that everything will be fine, at any rate you want them to take it more seriously and you are very afraid of this surgery. you need to sit down with them and tell them how you feel and let them tell you also what they are afraid of. then i would go to the Dr. and ask him to explain the surgery in more detail, to put you more at ease about it. you need to feel better about it or it will be harder for you to go through and it will take longer for you to recover afterwords.again i think the Dream is just your uneasiness with the surgery, but you will be so much more at ease if you discuss things with your dr. i hope this helped and you will be in my prayers, bless you

Aslam-o-Alikum, How are you sister? I truthfully do not understand what your dream recommend. yet each so often we've dream of what we are wondering about in actual existence, like what we assume of when we are unsleeping and we are on my own and those thoughts come back to us as desires besides. What you want to do is, you want to wish 5 cases an afternoon and ask Allah that could assist you and handbook you and improve your Iman. i am going to Insha'Allah keep in thoughts you in my prayers... Islam is alive after Karbala... i wish I helped

I believe that no one can interpret anothers dreams because everyone is different, thus everyone thinks slightly differently. the only way to understand your dreams is to consciously tell your self before you sleep that you will dream in a way that you yourself can interpret. one way is to take a small glass of water and drink half of it telling your self what I just mentioned. then in the morning drink the other half of the water. this is just a method to get our brain to start working for you.
