I loved my grandmother and found she also had a preception of things to come. As I age I seem to lose that gift, I don't want to but I become busy with worldly things.

My mom said she saw my uncle appear by her bedside the night that he died. He asked for her forgiveness and told her that he loved her (they went through a lot in life). Early the next morning she found out that he had died the night before.

EDIT:
jak_newnan- your response made me cry.

I have experienced this myself. Right after my grandmother had died my aunts seen her in Walmart. Then a couple years later I was living with my father and was going to bed and she came out of my closet and sat in the recliner in the corner of my room. She sat there and watched me lay in bed while she sat and rocked. At this time I was going through my dads drug habits, my parents, divorce, and a new man in my mothers life. I never told my mom this until recently, which she has never seen her, but my mom says that she was my angel protecting me from danager and watching over me.

I had that experience just recently. My best friend of 14 years died suddenly and I saw him standing in my house for a few seconds. I talked to his other friends & some of them had the same experience. I think he was trying to say good-bye.

Have you witnessed your son being blown up in front of you in a Baghdad cafe and had to bury him while dealing the effects of toxic shock? Thank God you don't live in the Middle East.

Yes, what you have experienced is very touching and sad, but it pales in comparison to what most Palestinians deal with every day.

The night my mother died, she laid across the foot of my bed. The same night, a dear friend of hers also said my mother laid across the foot of her bed. The next night, I felt her lay behind me; like we were spooning. It was a very comforting feeling.

Same thing happened to me when my grandfather died. I was sleeping in his room and I saw him sitting in his rocker, rocking back and forth angry. When I told him who I was he stopped and calmed down and dissapeared.
