Also check out the Flickr Creative Commons, with the tag "earthquake". Scroll down the page. Some photos will not be what you are looking for but many will be. There are several pages of photos:

and
http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=earthquake&l=4&s=int

Make sure that you give the photographer credit! Just add: "By _____" (where _____ is the photographer's name).
