I get so much enjoyment from cooking and baking! I love my Joy of cooking cookbook which has such classic yet loved and simple recipes.
Often I find recipe books just don't have a lot of SCRATCH recipes.
Scratch is very important! I grew up cooking a lot of Italian and when I married I moved to the SW and learned authentic mexican cooking. It's so wonderful being able to make dishes that are not only gorgeous but delicious and be able to say "I made that".
I'll take home-cooked over the drive through any day, MINUS the PIZZA night, which just HAS to be delivery!!! :)

I'm actually a good cook. I can cook better then my two sisters and most of the time I do cook for the family.

I LOVE to cook and people tell me I'm a good cook. I'll spend all day in the kitchen sometimes.

My family, immediate and extended love it when I cook. I don't know if they think it's good, or it's just free. lol. I do get requests from a lot of them to make certain dishes my way, because I usually "tweak" a recipe and make it my own.

i only can barely boil the water...
cook is difficult to me... but at least i could ready the mee & the eggs... :)
