Talk with a counselor and the principal. Make your you document when and what he is saying, and bring that with you.

You probably have my mom for a math teacher! It is normal for a teacher to put alot of pressure on you---they just want you to succeed and not be another depressing part of our society. If she is saying mean things like derogatory or insulting statements, then you should address your concern to the principal.

Maybe you need to look at your performance, and the performance of your peers, to find out why she is putting pressure on you. Perhaps it's because she wants you to do well, and you are not performing up to your potential. It's hard to know what you mean by 'saying mean things' to you. Is she being rude, or being frank? Are you respectful to her, or do you talk in class, or fail to complete assignments?
Most teachers don't indulge in 'mean' behavior unless they are provoked, but many teachers do put pressure on students to do better when the teachers are convinced the student is capable of achieving more.

You do not have to have this teacher for long.
A few months out of the year. Try your very
best to keep your head down and your face
in your work. It is not your job to like the teacher,
it is your job to learn the math....so just worry
about doing a good job at that. If the teacher is
really out of line, it will be taken care of.

levitate your head three feet above your shoulders right in front of her! That would freak her out! Then walk upside down on the ceiling while singing "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy"!

Just smile at her while she is being mean...it'll make her angry and you'll get a good laugh out of it later!

Tell her after class you fell like shes putting alot of pressure on you. Duh. She will back off , if not tell a counsiler thats what they are there for , just because someone is your teacher doesnt mean they are god or your mom or dad.
