It's most likely your PC speaker. Does it beep at random, or in response to something you're doing on the computer?

Assuming the latter, and that you're on Windows, try this:
1. Click Start, then Run
2. Type in "net stop beep" (without the quotes)
3. Verify that the beeping has stopped

Alternately, you can turn off your PC, open it up, then simply disconnect the power to the PC speaker.

even without a sound card you computer will beep with a built in external speaker, and will do this during boot up one beep means everthing is fine if it beeps more than once during boot up you have problems, then without a sound card it will beep when you have an error message or try to do something that you can't do in the os just to let you know there is an error, most motherboards come with some sort of speaker for bios error beep codes, and your os will use this if no sound card is detected

Computers usually have a small speaker component for diagnostic beeps. The beep sequence is different for each brand, but for example: long beep, short beep, long beep might mean the motherboard battery is low or faulty.

Bro,

Normally the beeping sound appear if you pc already 2 years old and need services. Sometimes, it happend that this beeping sound is the "warning" before your pc's motherboard burn out.

I suggest that you take your pc to be check.

There's a speaker built into the motherboard. It can emit a beep sound.

there is something called a system speaker. It is attached to your motherboard and is what provides the beeping noises when you turn on your computer.
