Legitimate Talent Agents CANNOT advertise on Craigslist, they will lose their Agency license if they advertise ANYWHERE!

There should be a few Talent Agencies in San Francisco.

Connect with some of the local actors, they are the best source of information for San Francisco.

Typically, agents find actors in theatre productions. Audition! Try to find out where local actors congregate. If there is a bookstore that specializes in theatre, go there and ask if they have a copy of The Ross Reports.

It's a booklet that lists all of the agents in major cities.

Audition for a show. Get cast. If it's a stage performance, invite agents to the show. If it's a TV or film role, send postcards to agents announcing your appearance in the TV show or film.

You can try mailing your headshot and resume, along with a cover letter, to agents around town, but unless you are young and positively, absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, mailings are usually a waste of time and money.

Good luck.
