Divide the 24 by 2 to get 12 and then
square that to get 144.
Trinomial is x^2 + 24x + 144 = (x + 12)^2.

The annwer is +144.
add that to the end.

this will make the perfect "binomial" of (x+12)^2

x²+24x
=x²+24x+(12)²-12²
=(x+12)²-144
144 i guess.
