I know I'm not outstandingly tall, not at all, I'm only 5'8'', but I have experienced so many girls near or at six feet all in one place that it now has me curious. I don't normally pay attention to this stuff, but it seems like I'm seeing this more and more when I walk the streets or any public place in general. I even saw girls who were like 11 or something nearing that height, just unbelievable.
My theory? I can't say all girls are getting taller because that also depends on ethnic groups, and which group growth is more frequent.
I use my height as my measuring stick. I'm a 5'8 22 year old and I've encountered young women, where I only reach their neck. Maybe I'm just very short....beats me.

Almost every child grows to be taller than their parents. Its got me wondering how long it will be before we'll need to get bigger doors/door frames.

Thyere's a theory that steroids in fast food have created tese bigger, taller children. Yes, there are regulations against adding steroids to cattle feed in this country, but the top three fast food chains own most of the cattle industry south of the border.
Also, all kids grow taller than their parwnts because their parents start shrinking. Yiou don't have to shrink; you can eat live enzymes and sweat and stretch, but most people go ahead and stretch.

It is not just you. Women are getting taller everywhere, and yuo can nail i tdown to better health care, and fast foods.
Women now agerage 5 ft 8 inches in holland where a 20 years ago they were an average 5 ft.. Mne there have also increased to an average of 6 ft 1 in.
The downside is they with all of their good health and foods are getitng muscle and bone trouble at an early age due to they excessive and fast growth spurt in that country.
Aroundhere you walk though walmarts and it's not uncommon to see several women 6 ft or more.
I personally think it';s the hormones given animals in their feed and being passed on to humans via meats, and veggies.
We now have genetic foods which are raised and designed for shelf life without any food value in mind. We have the government approving the hjuman consumption of cloned animals which will be raised for shelf life, fast growth, and quick harvest without any thought or effort to see any reverse effects to humans.

well.. i only knew of a few girls at my school that were taller than me or as tall. (I'm 6'1"). Seems like a lot of girls are around 5'6" to 5'8". Few taller than that, but many shorter.

it fairly is fairly immature and shallow. 6'a million isn't that tall. a approaches, a approaches from a beast of nature. You HATE tall women folk? maximum fashions, are around 6'a million. particular, i'm talking approximately expert fashions. like those you spot on runways, and modeling for shop manufacturers like Victoria's secret. And to be truthful, 5'7 is fairly short for a guy. doubtful in case you be conscious of this, yet my acquaintances and that i, we like tall adult males. And for the record, we HATE shallow adult males.

You're tall. I think it depends on ethnicity and where they are from. I never grew past my parents height. I stopped growing ages ago. I"m 5'0 only.

You are tall to me, I am 5'2'' and am 24 I don't plan on growing any more. I have not noticed this crazy phenomenon that you are talking about, probably because most people are taller then me. But i will keep my eye out.

Aren't they beautiful. I don't know what is causing it but I think more girls are taller than they used to be, as a population. There are still a lot of shorter girls I see, but.....They are all beautiful. And you're not what I would consider short by any means.

It does seem that girls are getting taller! I see many teenage girls who are 5'10 or taller; whereas when I was younger they stuck out like a sore thumb.

yes they are, i have done survays at school on this and the height gap between men and women is narrowing abit.
