Yup, season 6... pardon the pun, but she was going thru the motions after she got back from the dead, and felt she could only tell Spike what was wrong, that they drug her back out from heaven and she didn't want to be back on earth. Then in Once More with Feeling, Spike admits his feelings for her, talks her out of giving up and dying, and they kiss at the end of the ep, starting their wild relationship.
