I had a normal period in November , but no period in December, just spotting nearly all month .What can cause this ? I am a 30 year old female and have yearly pap smears that come back normal.

I don't use birth control and haven't used birth control pills in years.

I have had that before but it was right after I stopped my Depo shots. If you're on the pill, it may be a hormonal reaction to that. If your period isn't normal next month you should see your doctor. If you're concerned, call your Gynecologist a nurse should be able to give you some good advice or set your mind at ease.

Alot of things could cause this especially depending on what type of birth control you use if any. One month I wouldn't worry about too much but if it happens again make an appointment with your gyno asap. Stress, exercise, eating habits, etc., can change a womans period. Good luck.

probably nothing to worry about, based on the fact that my daughters had her period for going on 8 weeks now and the Doctor's not worried.
He did mention maybe putting her on birth control to even out the hormones, you should tell your Doc next time you're in if it persists. Good luck.

This is not normal. You should see the doctor and get checked. It may be normal to skip a period once in a while, but you should not be spotting.
