1. Chlorophyll absorbs the light energy.
2. Reactants are carbon dioxide and water. Products are oxygen and glucose.
3. Photosynthesis occurs in the chloroplasts of eukaryotes. (Light-dependent reactions in the thylakoid membranes and Calvin Cycle in the stroma.)
