I think the hardest position is definitely the quarterbacks, so the best of all of the quarterbacks ever, Joe Montana, is the greatest NFL player in the world.

well answering the question who's the best nfl player is impossible since its a team game and each plays a certain position and the postions are all different. In my opinion the best running back is either Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Ladanian Tomlinson, or Marshall Faulk. Marshall was probably the best college running back of all time. Best linebackers would be in their prime, Dick Butkus for his time, recently though Ray Lewis Junior Seau and Brian Urlacher. Best QB of all time i'd have to say Joe Montana. Best Wide Receiver would have to be Jerry Rice, then Marvin Harrison. I don't know about Marvin but he is good.

I cant just pick one lol but here are my picks

QB: Montana......4 rings, smart, leader.

RB: Emmitt Smith......3 rings, one of the most durable players at his position(which is needed for a great RB), and was a Cowboy(sry had to put that one in there lol)....Barry Sanders close but cut his career too short in my opinion.

WR: Jerry Rice......... what else can i say? how many records does he have?????

and one of the most underrated position FB: would either have to be Moose Johnston or Tom Rathman because without those guys to lead block how can these RB's get anywhere( along with the O-line)....

I have to agree w/ Jim Brown. He put up numbers that no one else was coming close to at the time. If he would have kept playing, he would have set the bar VERY VERY high as far as all-time records go. The numbers he put up in a very short career still rank up there w/ some guys who have played a lot longer, I can't go w/ anyone else.

That's too broad of a question to ask.

Every position/player has a different impact on the game.

I'd probably go with somebody like Lawrence Taylor. Before he came into the league, they didn't even keep stats on sacks. He redefined how a DE/LB plays.....

For a defensive side of the ball you would have to go with Lawrence Taylor.
For the offensive side it has to be hands down Barry Sanders. If he did not choose to retire that early he would of, without doubt, broke nearly all RB records.

joe montana. QB is the most difficult position to play. he was the best that i ever have seen. his presence and confidence made the rest of his team play at a higher level and know that they could win.

Johnny Unitas. He is still the standard by which all other quarterbacks are judged. The only reason he isn't more recognized is that the NFL wasn't as popular as it is today.
