I mean any song I hear on tv or anywhere gets in my head....or even a song I haven't heard in several days will reappear in my head....

Most pop songs are in 4/4 time, which, when compared with jazz or classical music, is a very quick and easy time signature to remember.
Think about memorizing a piece of poetry versus, say, the gettysburg address. Because you have a certain meter and rhyme, you'd be much more apt to commit the poem to memory. Its just how the mind works.

Last Song Syndrome eh? it happens to me a lot of times. must be some activity inside the brain. your brain picks up something and keeps on repeating it. better go ask a neuroscientist about this. haha.

That happens to me to. Most of the time I dont mind unless its a song that I dont like, then its annoying. The brain is amazing.

I do too - and usually something stupid that I don't like. I'll whistle or hum it all day. My solution is to find it and listen all the way through, or sing the whole thing, start to finish.

yet Canada youtube received't allow you to be conscious my vids, accurate? seem up "The Quakes" version of "deliver me an Angel". it truly is my ringtone and someone basically referred to as me, so i'm making a song it in my head :)
