Because he has a personal interest in any country that has oil reserves. Not only that, but it would be the only achievement that he ever had in his political career or personal life!
To top things off, he already has the leader of their country where he wants him (DEAD!), and he knows that the dude running N. Korea wouldn't stand by and let him do that over there. He's just a little too much of a loose cannon. We'd all be in for it if Bush tried the same thing with him, and I don't mean Americans, I mean the world.
Also, Bush is trying to finish what George Sr. started and didn't finish when he had the chance. But because he is such an inept idiot, he'll never get what he went for, however, he'll get what he deserves for once though! He had to go after Sadaam when he failed at getting Bin Laden. Just goes to show, he'll never suceed at anything other than being the arrogant moron that his parents raised him to be. Despite all their grooming efforts, he turned out a dud but they couldn't accept it and kept using their money and influence to push him higher hoping that one day he'd amount to something. Ain't happening!

I guess he wants to make Iraq a democracy like America. I think North Korea is not on the top of the list right now and I think after Iraq then Bush might want to make North Korea democracy.

North Korea's military is a hell of a lot tougher than Iraq's. You have to remember that they're a communist nation so a good chunk of the money goes back into the government.

The US and allies took out Iraq's government, therefore are obligated to make sure another reasonably stable government is in place. This is the "pottery barn philosophy:" "you broke it, you bought it." A democratic government is obviously the best choice.
If they took out North Korea's government, they would have to do the same.

Because the leader of N. Korea is an insane and unfortunately has nukes attached to that insanity. No one wants to mess with him right now. I just feel sorry for the people who are living under his insanity - especially those who have nothing. They're literally surviving off nothing.
