Once I was sitting at a coffee shop. Just reading. And a stranger walked up to me and said:

"You look like a friend just waiting to be made."

We started talking. And now we really are friends. It was a very kind thing for her to say.

I get complimented on sex all the time but not the greatest compliment by far.

I like when people tell me Im the smartest guy they know. A lot of my friends say that, but it means a lot because I know I don't always try and act smart so Im always flattered when people can percieve that in me.

Everyday I would walk with my 6-year old daughter to her school. One day, as we reached the gate I knelt down, buttoned her sweater, and gave her a kiss with a strong hug (a bit of a daily ritual for us). I told her I love her and how proud I am of her.

A single mom (stranger) had been watching us and overheard our conversation. She stopped me, shook my hand (with her eyes welling-up), and told me I'm "a terrific father".

The funny thing is my daughter... now 13... remembers that day and made a grown man cry when she agreed with the stranger's compliment and gave me a hug. I hope the hugs never stop coming now that she is a teen.

I'm a wife and mother, so the best compliments I ever get are saying I'm a good wife, or a good mother.

Sometimes ppl say 'great' hehehe.... nothing in the world beats the feeling of hearing that.

A stranger sitting behind my son and I at a restaurant came over and said we had the best mother/son relationship he had ever seen between a parent and teenager. He said my son was polite, and attentive during our conversation. He said I must have done something right raising him.

My daughters teacher told me that she was a dream to have in class. I consider that a huge complement, because obviously, I did something right.

that I am one of nicest person ever (compassion). I go out my way to help people.

I think my coworkers and good friend say that to me. it is honor because I like to be a kind heart person. that's more beautiful than anything to me.
