every morning, could be before you get up or while you brush the teeth. what do you say to or think to yourself to get through today?

A great Sufi Master was once asked for words of wisdom that would apply to any situation.

He answered: "This, too, shall pass."

I use these words very often.

When things are going well, I say them so that I can appreciate the moment. When things are going poorly, I say them so that I can cope until improvement comes. They get me through my day.

The best thing to do is have a goal to look forward to of some kind. For an example, I know I am going on a vacation in 6 more weeks, so I am excited to get up each morning to be just 1 day closer! Or if your saving for something you really want, you know each day is closer to getting what you want, or worked so hard for. We all need to be motivated in life so we can get through those bad days, and so we can get up on that rainy morning when we don't really feel like it!

Thank you God for giving me one more day to make a positive difference in someone's life. For my friends and family that would miss me if I was gone, and for one more chance to be the person God wants me to be.I try to compliment one stranger a day and hopefully bring a smile to his or her heart.Life is precious. We are here to help others, not feel sorry for ourselves. Go do some good today and by making someone smile you will smile in return.And feel like life is about giving not taking

I say, today if I do great,
I will reward myself.
Now if you're on a diet, don't use food.
Normally I reward myself with a movie night or some times with friends.
It's just something to look forward to at the end of the week.

I think of all the tasks that I am going to do today.Then I thank God for all the things that I have to do that I enjoy, and I challenge myself to conquer all the things that I don't enjoy.
If I don't accomplish any of those things, then I don't get down on myself, I just plan them for the next day and try again.

I put on my favorite song and I smile at myself in the mirror while thinking about how lucky I am to be so strong (emotionally).
