The Chiefs showed great improvements on defense. With Trent Green, although aging but healthy, back for next year and Larry Johnson having some help from Priest Holmes, who intends on coming back next year, again. The Chiefs look like they could seriously contend for the West. The Chargers will still be the favorite. I don't really care, I just hope they make the playoffs and maybe win a game once they get there next year.

If Rivers, Merriman and LT are abducted by space aliens, then yes the Chiefs would have a chance. If space aliens were to come here, they first would abduct the Raiders fans in the black hole, so the Chiefs probably aren't going to win next year. Hope for the wild card again.

Thier QBs is getting old,thier losing thier star TE to free agency,and they still have some important gaps to fill in on defense.The Chargers should be rulers of the west for the next couple years, and with Cutler improving Denver is the only other team that will pose any kind of challenge

I think Priest is done.
Chiefs are good, but they finished 5 games behind the Bolts this year.
If they have a good draft, they could definitely move up in the division.
