I am good at getting the truth/facts out of people. I can sense when people are lying or up to something. People tend to open up to me right away. I analyze things over and over to think of all possibilities and options. I look deeper into things than most people...I put more meaning behind a look or gesture or the way someone says something. I am skeptical but would like to look at the world through rose-colored glasses. Sometimes I still tend to do that with some areas in life. I have a photographic memory for details. I'm very sensitive and aware and self-conscious but also very tuned in to what's going on with people around me. I'm very empathetic and feel what others are feeling and can put myself in their situation and know what they're going through. I sometimes have premonition-type dreams. So...what career would best suit me, knowing these details about myself ? Do you need to know more ?

To answer a few questions...my education is this : I graduated high school and got a diploma from a business school and I've been doing clerical jobs since and I am not satisfied with this and feel I'm wasting my potential away on a meaningless job when I could be doing something with these qualities I possess. I am interested in being a psychologist/counselor or lawyer but what really intrigues me is being a writer/journalism or being a detective that helps to solve crimes and gets criminals convicted...especially criminals involved in drug/murder crimes because I have witnessed how terribly drugs can affect peoples' lives and families. Something to think about pursuing...can't quite make up my mind. Wanted others' insights...

I think part of the answer to this will depend on your resources to pay for school and how long you want to go to school. You certainly seem to have the personality to work with people. It sounds like the medical field is your calling. Psychology sound right for you. Within that field you may decide such as psychologist or a RN that works in the psych field. A psychiatrist is an actual medical doctor with a degree in psychology, that would take quite a commitment. I am a RN so I lean more toward that for my answer. As an RN there are many things you can do. This would include travel nursing that consists of traveling all over the country where you choose to go. Housing is provided for you and you make 30-40 $ an hour at least. You should start researching the fields that you are interested in now. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Based on the information you have given it sounds like you would make an excellent detective or district attorney. Counseling sounds like another good career choice for you. The premonition type dreams could be helpful in either of those career choices as well. I would need to know more details about this area of your life but you could possibly choose another career based on psychic abilities.
It sounds like you have a lot going for you and you will be great in whatever you choose...just follow your intuitions. Somehow I feel you already know about following intuition. Best wishes. Peace.

This is interesting: "I put more meaning behind a look or gesture or the way someone says something."
Were you to "get" more meaning rather than "put" more meaning, you'd do well to pursue a career in psychology. Those who are most successful and helpful in any mental health field "get" rather than "put." Lawyers "put" -- and twist and turn, and are likely responsible for a significant percentage of the revenue generated within the mental health field.
You'd do well to take a wide variety of courses to hone your skills and expand your interests -- then decide what you'd like to do with your life.

Well buddy.. you have not specified your age, but given by the God gifted qualities you possess, you must choose a profession related to law, more specifically a judge..Thus by the lethal combination of evidences and your inherent qualities, you can easily distinguish between culprits or innocents. Beside giving you satisfaction it will also be great help for the mankind. Good Luck.

Hmmm... I would say ghost whisperer (just kidding) or actual real life detective. Possibly a career in law enforcement or Government.

Most of us on here aren't qualified to tell you what you should do. Only YOU can decide what career you'll pursue.
Here are a couple website that quiz you and then let you know what your best career choices are. After you identify when your strengths and weaknesses are, research those career paths and see if it feels right to you.
Good luck!
