Not many seem to know her music, which is surprising to me. I even searched on Y!A and there were only 6 questions about her...one of them being my own.

Yes, she's very good; kinda folky. As I recall, her father is a poet, and a university professor. You might like Mary Chapin Carpenter too if you like LW, or Shelby Lynne or Shelby's sister, Allison Moorer.

Yeah, she's a rootsy Americana singer-sonwriter. Her album "Car Wheels On A Dirt Gravel Road" is a killer. Too bad she's such a well kept secret.....
