Because they actually are.

Why do you think factories are closing in the first world and moving to third world countries like India, China, Pakistan, Mexico or Indonesia, where working rights are weaker, sweatshops thirve, and wages are cheap and miserable?

Why do you think that global corporations actually support dictatorships like those in Pakistan or Turkmenistan?

Globalization is a race down to the bottom. All countries compete to reduce working rights, regulations and wages in order to get the most investment. So far, Asian third world countries are "winning", while we see factories close and being replaced with McDonald's.

It's not a substainable economic model, and eventually we will all end up losing.

We don't allow sweatshops but under developed countries do so jobs go there because it saves the company money. But the lack of work puts pressure on developed countries to reduce wages and work longer hours.

if by Globalization you mean letting illegal immigrants such as Mexicans come across our border and take jobs illegally for sub minimum wage then the answer is obvious isn't it? even legal immigrants with work visas are willing to take minimum wage jobs with little or no benefits and flooding the job market. if the government ever legalizes the illegal immigrants that would cause the employers to have to pay them more and give them benefits, which would cause the employer to raise his prices for his goods and services which would affect the entire economy and cause another recession. at least that's my opinion.
